Adventure awaits! Join in on the fun! Neuse Regional Libraries’ Summer Reading Program (SRP) is in full swing. It’s not too late to join us on our journey all around the world. You will be astounded by the discoveries you’ll uncover this Summer at your local library. But most importantly, you’ll have a blast doing it!

Explore the world through a weekly Storytime; unleash your inner scientist with STEMventures; cook and taste popular cultural dishes with Tastefully Abroad; and experience far-off destinations through Adventure Awaits VR Exploration. This year, the Summer Reading Program registration is online using the READsquared website or app. After registering, participants can access fun games and missions and log their reading minutes. Even adults can join the adventure. This month’s featured program is a lecture on the archaeology of piracy offered by Dr. Charles Ewen of East Carolina University on July 25 at 6:30 p.m.  Each library has its own schedule of fun-filled events; visit neuselibrary.org or contact your local library for a full list of activities. With various programs and events for all ages, the library is the perfect place to ignite your curiosity and expand your horizons. Discover new interests, make new friends, and create lasting memories at the library.

Neuse Regional Libraries has enrolled nearly 1,500 youth participants in its Summer Reading Program. Due to limited space, some programs require registration. Whether you’re a young explorer or a seasoned reader, Neuse Regional Libraries has something for everyone. Adventure awaits! Happy reading!
